  General Notes:

Fritz and Henrietta made a trip back to Germany in 1900. According to the Mt. Vernon Signal, they were to sail from New York on 8 Dec 1900 on the steamer Keiser William with plans to spend a month to six weeks. A later note in the Signal indicated they actually sailed on the 11th.

Further newspaper clips about their trip:
11 Jan 1901: Fritz Krueger writes from Liengo, Germany, that he and Mrs. Krueger landed safe and both enjoying good health.
15 Feb 1901: Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Krueger returned Saturday, after a two months visit to relatives in Germany. They both stood the trip across the waters first-rate being a little sick only two days.

• 1910 United States Federal Census, Fritz Krueger household, Rockcastle County, Kentucky: Fritz and his 2nd wife, Anna, were living on Main Street in Mt. Vernon with his sons, August and William. Fritz was listed as a contractor/builder, age 55, born in Germany, married for the 2nd time for 3 years. 24

• 1920 United States Federal Census, Fritz Krueger household, Rockcastle County, Kentucky: Fritz and Anna were living on Main Street in Mt. Vernon. Anna's niece, Clara Traub, was living with them. Fritz was listed as a contractor/builder, age 65, born in Germany, immigrated to the US in 1887, naturalized in 1892. 27
