Taylor born to William and Delilah Cox Taylor so it is not probable that Delilah gave birth again in less than 6 months. The 1900 census lists Williams birth month and year as Aug 1873. In addition to the birth date of 10 Sep 1874 on his death certificate, it also lists William's age as 63 years, 10 months and 10 days. If those numbers are compared to his death date of 20 Jun 1937, they calculate to a birth date of 10 Aug 1873, however, this is only 7 months prior to Sarah R.'s birth so is also unlikely to be the correct birth date. Based on this information, William was probably born in 1873 but the exact date is unknown.
